Fully vaccinated travellers no longer require a PCR test
Unvaccinated travellers entering Zimbabwe must possess a -ve COVID-19 PCR test result, issued no more than 48 hrs before departure to Zimbabwe. Without this, you will be denied entry.
Children below the age of 12 do not need a -ve COVID-19 PCR test (even if not vaccinated)
Travellers above the age of 12, who are NOT fully vaccinated, are required to present a valid -ve PCR test taken not more than 48 hours before departure.

Arrival by Road
All guests 18yrs + arriving through Kazungula and Vic Falls border posts must have proof of vaccination or a negative PCR Test no older than 48hrs.
If families are travelling with children under 18, the children should follow the rules of fully vaccinated travellers (children below 12 years of age do not require a PCR certificate).

Pre-Departure Requirements
Fully vaccinated travellers no longer require a PCR test and are required to show proof of vaccination ‘Fully Vaccinated’ means complete doses of a vaccine for example first and second dose of two dose COVID vaccines.
All other travellers must take a COVID-19 PCR test no more than 72 hrs prior to departure.
Children under 12 are exempt from the testing / vaccination protocols
All passengers must fill out a traveller’s health questionnaire on board & present it to the health staff on arrival (should be provided on the plane but it is advised to download (above) and fill in to avoid potential complications.
Visa fee waiver in place from 01 November 2022 for nationals of: United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Norway, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, the Gulf States (Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE) and the European Union.

East Africa
Pre Departure Requirements
All travellers to Kenya must be fully vaccinated unless meeting the exemption criteria
Fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from PCR testing.
Unvaccinated travellers, 12yrs+ must take a valid PCR test conducted within 72hrs before departure.
All travellers must obtain their visa in advance, online via: www.evisa.go.ke.
On Arrival
Travellers with flu like symptoms are expected to self-monitor and report daily through the jitenge platform for their first 14 days in Kenya and will be required to take a rapid antigen test on arrival at a cost of USD30. Any positive results will require a further PCR Test at a cost of USD50 and required to self isolate
On Departure
All travellers require a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
PCR tests are not required unless specified by the airline / final destination.

Following an announcement by the Ugandan Ministry of Internal Affairs on 14 October ’21, all travellers must apply for a visa online before travel.

Unvaccinated travellers must have a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72hrs of travel (72hrs begins on the day the sample is collected for testing). Children <3yrs exempt if travelling with -vely certified parents. You MUST indicate “Travel” as the purpose of the test.
