OUR AFRICAN SAFARI REVIEWS What our guests say…

My sister and I recently returned from an amazing 5 week trip to Southern Africa, where we explored Cape Town, Johannesburg, Namibia, Botswana, and Victoria Falls. Claire’s extensive knowledge and experience with the Region were invaluable in planning our journey. She took the time to understand our safari preferences and offered a range of options. Her meticulous planning and attention to detail were exceptional. We had an amazing adventure with safaris in both Namibia and Botswana, experiencing diverse landscapes, stunning sunsets, and plenty of wildlife sightings. We highly recommend Claire.

Always fantastic to travel on a safari organised by Claire. I have booked 2 trips now using Claire’s services. One through Kenya and Tanzania and this year Botswana. Her trips are well organised through very reputable companies who are friendly and extremely helpful. In the lead up to travel Claire gives you lots of tips and is always able to answer an questions you have. Our itineraries were always varied using different types of accommodation mobile tenting, lodges , house boats etc ...which makes for a vary interesting trip. Claire is definitely an African Specialist and I don't hesitate to recommend her to anyone thinking of travelling to Africa. I'm already thinking about my next trip.

Photographic Safaris

In order to capture the ideal shot in photography, one must have the proper lighting, angles, and duration of exposure. Even while you might see some amazing wildlife while on a typical African safari, the conditions are frequently not great for taking pictures. The primary goal of an African photo safari is photography. This implies that you may count on receiving the greatest photo ops imaginable during your journey.

Lodges and Tented Camps

Safari lodges are permanent accommodation built out of stone, wood, thatch, bricks, mortar or a combination of all.  Tented Camps are generally considered the best for a true safari experience. All lodges and tented camps feature real beds and private, en-suite bathroom facilities.

Scheduled Departures

We have a wide range of African safaris and tours with set departure dates to cater for guests wanting to travel in small groups. Your guide travels with you for the duration of the safari or tour, with the advantage of enjoying the company of a group of like-minded people for the whole safari, sharing an adventure that is often the basis for lasting friendships.

Adventure Camping

Adventure camping requires participation. Your guide and assistant do all the meal preparation, however, we ask guests to help (on rotation) with the washing up.  You will also need to assist with putting up your tent and packing the vehicle.  There are some long travel days which means early morning starts, so we all need to get involved to make the day run efficiently.

Family Safaris in Africa

When it comes to a family holiday, an African safari is an enriching and exciting experience. As a company, we recommend your children are at least 10 years old so that everyone can enjoy and get the most out of this amazing experience. Most family-friendly camps/lodges have family tents/rooms, meaning you can all be under the same roof.  Child rates are often applicable but does depend on the age of your children.
