The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has increased the prices of gorilla and chimpanzee permits for the next two years.
In a letter from the Uganda Wildlife Authority stated that a new set of pricing will come into effect from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026, including an increase in Gorilla and Chimpanzee licences.
Any permits already purchased for use after the 1 July 2024 will not be subject to the new price increase.
The below pricing is for foreign non-residents.
Gorilla trekking and Habituation costs from the 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2026.
