Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred by road to your accommodation in Hwange National Park, Nantwich Lodge. This Hwange game lodge, situated in the Northwest corner of the park overlooks a large dam with resident crocodile and hippo, boasting one of the best views in Hwange National Park. Spend your time exploring this vast reserve, discovering secluded hides and waterholes where wildlife roams freely. Enjoy the unique opportunity to venture on guided bush walks (bush walks are seasonal), immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of the wild. Our safari hide offers a perfect vantage point for quiet observation, bringing you up close to nature.

After breakfast, a road transfer through the heart of Hwange National Park will take you to Camp Hwange. The landscape and corresponding bush and wildlife is very different to the north of Hwange. Travel by road (Ndlovu Drive) through Hwange National Park on a game viewing experience to Camp Hwange through the varied scrublands and diverse wildlife of the eastern region of the park. There will be opportunities to stop at waterholes and secluded Hwange hides for wildlife viewing along the way. On arrival at Camp Hwange, enjoy the warm welcome and get ready for two days of African adventure. During your stay you will have the opportunity to explore this area of the park on game drives and bush walks. There are also logpile hides at the camp, a unique way to observe wildilfe such as elephants during the dry season when they are attracted to waterholes situated at the camp.

This morning after breakfast you will have a short transfer to Shumba Airstrip, where you will depart on your flight back to Victoria Falls Airport. On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be met and transferred by road to your accommodation, the wonderful Ilala Lodge where you will spend the night. This afternoon you have the opportunity to relax while on a sunset cruise exploring the mighty Zambezi River. Explore Vic Falls town to discover this laid-back travel hub where you can visit charming cafes or bustling markets. Find the best spot to view the Victoria Falls and be dazzled by the roar of the “Smoke that Thunders”. Feel the cool spray of the fine mist that rises meters above mighty falls where thousands of litres of water plunge down a steep gorge, gouging out a winding canyon below.

Our safari ends after breakfast. You will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport in time for your departure flight. We hope to welcome you again one day on another of our African adventures!
