Elephants at waterhole – Etosha National Park

During the dry season, multitudes of animals converge around water sources, making for spectacular game viewing. Grazers such as Burchell’s zebra, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, and black-faced impala can be found in abundance on Etosha’s grassveld. Kudu can be spotted on the woodland’s edges, while giraffe graze on the acacias and eland come to drink. With significant populations of lion, leopard, and cheetah, Etosha’s cats are thriving. Elephants can be found in large herds, while black and white rhino can be found throughout the park, especially in the west.
