Zambia is by far one of Africa’s ultimate safari destinations. The South Luangwa National Park is some nine thousand square kilometres of pristine wilderness and home to the walking safari. With an abundance of game, spectacular game viewing is guaranteed and sightings of big cats are amongst the best in Africa. Down in the Lower Zambezi, spend time out on the river boating, canoeing or fishing or enjoy game drives in this beautiful park sandwiched between the rugged and dramatic escarpment and the Zambezi River. This area offers peaceful game viewing in true African wilderness.

Full Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – 2 : South Luangwa National Park

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be met by our representative and assisted with immigration and customs procedures. You will then be directed to the domestic check-in counters for your flight to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa. On arrival at Mfuwe Airport (1 hour 10 minute flight) from Lusaka, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the lodge,

Day 3 – 4 : South Luangwa National Park

After two nights at Mfuwe Lodge, you will do a game-drive road transfer from Mfuwe Lodge to Bilimungwe Bushcamp.

Day 5 – 6 : South Luangwa National Park

After two nights at Mfuwe Lodge, you will do a game-drive road transfer from Bilimungwe Bushcamp to Chindeni Bushcamp.

Day 7 – 9 : Lower Zambezi National Park

When you leave South Luangwa National Park, you will fly to Lower Zambezi and to Jeki Airstrip, where you will be met and transferred to Potato Bush Camp.

Day 10 – 11 : Livingstone, Zambia

Your flight from Lower Zambezi to Livingstone will bring you to your final destination on this safari. On arrival in Livingstone you will be driven 45 minutes to Waterberry Lodge which is set on the bank of the Zambezi River.

Day 12 : Departure
