airAnjajavy is set on a stretch of idyllic and unspoilt coastline overlooking the Mozambique Channel. There is a long sandy beach in front of the hotel flanked by limestone cliffs.  The hotel itself is set in extensive tropical gardens and is backed by deciduous forest. Early in the morning Madagascar lovebirds can be seen flying between the palm trees along with bright red fodys and the bright yellow Madagascar wagtail. It is also not unusual to see groups of common brown lemurs and sifakas in the trees around the hotel.
