Entebbe is a small, quiet town located on the shores of Lake Victoria and is easy to explore on foot, boda bodas (local motorbike) or taxis. The Boma is Entebbe's original hotel, set in tropical gardens in a leafy suburb, a few minutes' drive from Entebbe International Airport. The Boma Hotel is an ideal stopover and the staff and management team will ensure guests receive a personable service and enjoy hospitality standards which are in keeping with the tradition of this charming lakeshore town. The rooms combine the modern comforts one expects today with the charm and character of the original 1940s home. All the rooms are individually decorated in a mixture of African and European decor, and have been designed to reflect the original colonial architecture.

The rooms do vary, but most include four poster beds with mosquito nets, private veranda, en-suite bathroom, satellite television, international power points, safes, and wireless internet connection which is available throughout the property although the signal can vary from room to room.

The resident’s only restaurant is open from 6 am to 10 pm and serves mostly home-made European style meals, with a dash of Indian, Thai and Mediterranean choices. There are no credit card facilities at The Boma Guest House.
