Following the turn of unprecedented travel bans and worldwide air and land travel disruption, as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), this is an update from the team at African Safaris Ltd.
If you need to contact us outside of hours, here are our 24 hour emergency contacts:
We are dealing with each booking individually, on case-by-case basis as there is no broad agreement amongst suppliers on what terms to apply. Separate correspondence has gone out to all of our suppliers, requesting that they are flexible as possible in re-booking. Please bear in mind that suppliers are currently overwhelmed with the volume of amendments and are taking time to revert to us on a per case basis.
If you have a safari booked with us, we need your help and we ask you to defer, rather than cancel your trip. The survival of our industry is absolutely key for the preservation of Africa’s wild places. That remains our focus, and your help in keeping our teams in Africa doing what they are doing will be monumental.
We have faced crisis before and what is clear is that when this has passed, folk will need the perfect antidote. A bit of time spent in pursuit of wilderness will be just the ticket, and all of us at African Safaris Ltd are very much looking forward to being ready for that day.
We thank you all for your support.
