A true wilderness experience awaits you deep within a riverine forest minutes from Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Wilson Airport, and Nairobi City. It is the first type of accommodation permitted in this one-of-a-kind safari destination. Nairobi Tented Camp is the park’s only camp. Nairobi National Park is a one-of-a-kind ecosystem because it is the world’s only protected area so close to a capital city. The park is only 7 kilometres from Nairobi’s city centre.

The camp has nine guest tents, each of which sleeps, two people. Each tent has its own toilet and shower, allowing you to enjoy the luxury of en-suite living safari style,’ with hot water heated over a log fire and delivered to your shower when you’re ready.

The meals at Nairobi Tented Camp are designed to complement the safari experience. All meals are served from a set menu, with a warming hearty breakfast in the morning, light energising lunches served under the shade of an olive tree, and dinners of soufflés and tender beef fillet served under a star-studded sky. Everything at Nairobi Tented Camp is homemade and prepared with great care and attention to detail. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know when you make your reservation. The fully stocked bar in the central mess tent serves ice cold drinks.
