We really loved Africa and could easily return. For us it wasn’t just about the awesome opportunity to see all the animals in their natural settings but it was the variety and vastness of the landscapes that wowed us! From flooded rivers in Botswana and Namibia surrounded by green lush bush and full of animals and bird life to the amazing serenity and beauty of the Agab terraces. Flying over the Namib desert with views of canyons and sculpted sand dunes and then the sense of achievement after climbing the dunes at Sossusvlei., glamping in the desert and the multitudes of stars to admire every night including our southern cross. The experience of feeling miles from anywhere after 500 km days on dirt roads but still being able to relax for the night in comfortable well serviced lodges with excellent food and service in yet another breath taking setting ! Each day brought something new to see or experience and we were consistently impressed. The tour was well organised and professional and our driver was professional , attentive and very knowledgeable and informative. We really appreciated the detail and information provided by Claire at African Safaris when we booked our tour and especially the email to the hosts of our first night accommodation enquiring after our well being and safe arrival in Africa .Well done Claire.
