I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your efforts in putting together such an amazing safari for us. Everything was superb and without fault and although we had a lot of travelling we thought it was wonderful that we got to see so many different parks and visit both Kenya and Tanzania in the time that we were in Africa. We always had a ‘meet-and-greet’ waiting for us at the airport, which I thought was amazing given that sometimes we were very early and sometimes we were very late! I was a little concerned on our first day when we were heading into Nairobi to Wilson airport and the trip that should have taken 45 minutes ended up being 2 hour and 2 minutes and the plane should have been long gone, but no need to worry as our driver had it all under control and the plane was waiting for us. The accommodation just seemed to get better and better as the trip went on, and we really couldn’t find fault with anything. The kids particularly loves the places with a pool and would be in regardless of the water temperature. I particularly enjoyed the staff at the smaller places that we went to – Emma at Emakoko, Rachel at Oliver’s and Tanya at Sayari – their personal touch was incredibly welcoming. Although we did make a lot of good friends and contacts at most of the places that we stayed. The kids particularly enjoyed Samburu and meeting Francis the Masai warrior who has a real affinity with children. We have every intention of staying in contact with him. If I had to pick an ‘overall’ favourite (very hard!) it would probably be Mara Intrepids (or at the Mara) for everything that it had to offer, the game that we saw, the proximity to the airport, the great accommodation, food and staff. So thanks again, you did an outstanding job!
