Put simply we had the best time possible and we both agree that our holiday ranks up there with the best holidays we have ever had, if not the best!  Nothing was too much for them and we loved meeting them all, the guys even changed the mattress on our bed because Allison found the first one very hard. The lodge was fantastic, beautiful and relaxing, comfortable and clean, the food was amazing and the all inclusive booze provided plenty of refreshing gin at the sundowner after the afternoon ride each day. Ant and Tess invited the group to have a sundowner by the pool at their house and we learnt loads about the rhino and the risk of poaching as well as the great work Tess and Ant do to protect them. Fred and Pippa were amazing hosts and looked after us very well and all of the guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

The guys matched us with horses that were just right for our capabilities which was great. In fact all of the horses we rode were very well behaved, as fit as fiddle and happy to get the adrenalin pumping when the group wanted to go for a good run.

Of course there was also the wildlife…. Rhino, Sable, Kudu, Impala, Ostrich, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Pumba’s (warthog), Baboon, Giraffe, Zebra and many more… bush babies, Jackals the list goes on. Being on the horses allowed us to get very close to the wildlife which was amazing, we both loved every minute.

We loved every minute it was just so relaxing but at the same time very exciting, neither of us have smiled so much in a long while and we can’t wait to go back.
