Africa! What an arid desolate country.  I knew it would be something like that but still wasn’t prepared for the endless hours of nothingness. We were compensated with some wonderful sights and insight to the African people.  I just can’t get out of my mind the Sossusvlei sand dunes and the Deadvlei pan.  I think it is imbeded in my mind forever.   Kembo the driver was just lovely.  He was so much part of it and much missed when the trip was over.  The Delta was so different and although we had seen all the animals on the trip was a lovely interlude and great going out on the jeep and walking.
