We had a fabulous trip – the safari was terrific – animals just amazing – we saw everything there was to see including wild dogs, leopards, amazing birdlife. Highlights were probably Moremi, flying over the Delta, hotel at Chobe, helicopter over Vic Falls. The walking safari in Greater Kruger was really good – providing a very different perspective – got up very close to white rhinos, buffalo and wildebeest and then saw cheetah on drive in Kruger Park which was incredible. John and I then travelled to Drakensberg to do some walking – what a fantastic mountain range – it was like a tropical Scotland if you can imagine that. Then on the Rovos train from Pretoria to Cape Town – very spoilt with incredible scenery – much like our WA but with giraffe and flamingoes! All in all, a fantastic trip which we will never forget – very sad to leave Africa… thank you for all of your advice and organising.
