I had a fabulous trip! People in Botswana are so friendly and there is so much diversity of game to see. Everything went swimmingly. I had the good fortune to be at Mapula Lodge with only one other couple, which made for exclusive game drives. Very pleasant company and great guides. Being off the grid, makes the lodge a bit more ‘rural’ than say others, but really suited me. Phil is straight out of Indiana Jones and a real gem. Victoria Falls was fantastic. The helicopter ride was a blast and I even caught the rainbows at the Falls thanks to the in-depth knowledge of a professional photographer I happened to sit next to on a rock at the main viewing area. Capetown was beautiful. Thanks again Claire for organising everything.
