A once in a life time experience arranged for us by Claire. We embarked on our safari in Arusha, Tanzania and spent six wonderful, enlightening days with our guide Thomas.  The whole experience was most professionally handled and Thomas the ultimate guide and an excellent driver.

The safari took us via Lake Manyana to the Serengetti and the Ngorongoro Crater and without doubt surpassed our expectations. We were truly rewarded with every conceivable animal making  an appearance in huge numbers and almost within touching distance. Photograph opportunities were continuous. Not only the animals either for the amazing scenery everywhere is extraordinary, the Serengetti green and lush with abundant herds of zebra, elephant, giraffe and of course wildebeest. The latter treating us to a morning of their migration, half a million animals running, a magnificent sight and sound.

Accommodation everywhere was excellent with the most interesting being the Kati Kati tented camp where we spent 3 nights. Luxury en suite tents with comfortable beds and good showers. A real African experience with leopards in the trees behind and staff warding off elephants while we slept. We are sorry it’s all over but it’s something that will live in our memories forever.
