9-day Kenya Family Safari

Designed especially for families, this Kenya family safari offers comfortable accommodation and includes exciting activities and adventures for the children.  Beginning with some unforgettable animal encounters near Nairobi, your wildlife safari continues to two very different reserves rich with game – Samburu and the Masai Mara. There is also an option of staying at a Kenyan Beach Resort afterwards. Travel between the parks is by air to avoid long road journeys and accommodation is in luxury tented camps. All game drives are in 4×4 safari vehicles (not vans) and there is the option of experiencing a Balloon Safari.

The Adventurers’ Clubs (only at Mara Intrepids Camp) are for children aged under 12 years and include activities such as:

  • Build your own mini Maasai homestead
  • Have a close brush with a toothbrush tree
  • Learn to make a fire with a pair of sticks
  • Catch and study the brightest butterflies
  • Plant a tree and help bring back the rains
  • Cast big cat tracks from the real thing
  • Make friends quiver with your own bow
  • Learn how to identify birds of all feathers
  • Stalk victory in the bush treasure hunts

The Adventurers’ Clubs for older children (aged 12-17 years) include activities such as:
