On our 17-day Ultimate East African Tented Camp Safari you start in Tanzania, staying in luxury tented camps providing you with the best locations for viewing the wildebeest migration regardless of the time of year that you travel. Travel and activities in Serengeti National Park and are shared and in Tarangire National Park you are in your private use 4x4 with an experienced driver/guide.
In Kenya you will be stay in award winning eco-camps that are authentic, with a rustic charm combined with creature comforts, such as private bathrooms with flush toilets. Each camp is situated within a private wildlife conservancy for an intimate safari experience away from hordes of minibuses and crowds of tourists. You fly by light aircraft between the camps and will be game-viewing in open-sided 4WD game viewing escorted by top class guides. By staying in these exclusive wildlife conservancies, you will be away from the hordes of tourist minibuses.
You are transferred to Arusha airport for the morning flight to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera or Kogatende Airstrip you will be met by the camps vehicle and transferred to your camp for lunch. After lunch, shared game drive in the camp vehicle followed by dinner and overnight. Passengers arriving by the afternoon flight from Arusha will be met and transferred to the camp arriving in time for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast transfer to Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip arriving at approx 1140 hrs. Upon arrival met by your vehicle and a driver guide and transferred to your camp in the Ngorongoro Area arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure followed by dinner and overnight.
You game view on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This 102 square mile paradise was formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano more than twenty-five million years ago. The resulting rich fertile soil has produced lush vegetation that has attracted more than 30,000 resident mammals and a delicate balance of predator and prey. There is a good chance of seeing the “Big Five” of African wildlife during your day of game driving on the crater’s floor. You travel with a picnic lunch, served near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you head towards Tarangire National park, arriving at your camp in time for lunch. After lunch and a short siesta, you go for an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, check out and transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, met by a representative and you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight (not included) to Nairobi.
Pickup from Nairobi at 08:00 hours and transfer by plane to Porini Amboseli Camp, arriving at camp before lunch. (NB optional flight upgrade at a supplement). Following afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Masai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Then take a game drive in the conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Night game drive and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full day in the park. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to camp later in the afternoon. In the evening, you will have a sundowner on an observation platform overlooking a waterhole by the camp, where elephants and other animals often come to drink.
Morning and afternoon game-drives in Selenkay Conservation Area, Amboseli. Opportunity to do a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast and then drive through Amboseli park to the airstrip for the 9am flight to Wilson, connecting onto the 10:20 hours flight to Nanyuki (arriving at 11:30 hours). You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off on a game drive with your driver-guide in the camp's 4x4 safari vehicle.

After breakfast, depart Porini Rhino Camp and to connect with your light aircraft flight from Nanyuki at 09.45 hours to the Masai Mara, arriving at 11.00 hours. You will be met at the Naboisho Ol Seki airstrip and transferred to camp. Settle into your tent and enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Afternoon game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, with a sundowner at a scenic spot followed by a night game drive with spotlights to search for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopards which are resident in Olare Motorogi Conservancy, before heading back to camp for dinner.
A full day spent on a game drive in the famous Masai Mara Reserve with a picnic lunch in the reserve and then return to camp in the late afternoon.
