What an incredible adventure! Our trip was without doubt the best family experience we have ever had. Each location offered a different experience and each day was a new discovery. There are so many memories to recount. The helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, watching Elephants swim the Chobe river at sunset, wild dogs chasing Khudu, Lions mating, a leopard with her cub - the list is endless!!
The best was left till the end when we embarked on our 5 day private guided camping safari in the Okavango Delta. That was pure magic and brought us so close to nature. Yes the early morning starts in near zero temperatures were a challenge, but within 30 minutes that would be forgotten as we sat speechless looking at whatever new animal our guide had found for us. And how close did we get !!
The only word to describe it was 'surreal', and we cant recommend it enough to anyone contemplating an African Safari. The trip went exactly as planned - pickups were as scheduled and travel was so well organised. Thank you for making it so easy. I have attached a few photo's that encapsulate the essence of the trip. Hope you like them! Once again thanks for organising such a smooth and exciting trip.

It’s truly amazing how much the whole experience has left its mark on me. I find myself thinking about Africa everyday (mainly the people, places and animals). Everything about the safari was awesome and it’s an experience I will never forget for as long as I live. I definitely want to go back someday and see what else Africa has to offer. What you and Allison prepared and arranged for us was great and I could not have done it better if I tried.
While the whole trip was brilliant, the highlight for me would have been the Botswana part. Staying in Savute under canvas was magical and the guys who looked after us there were so friendly and accommodating. The food was some of the best of the entire trip. Consequently this is the place where we saw the most animals. Our Ranger at this camp, Mork, was awesome and really went out of his way to ensure we saw as much as we could. His sundowner spots were top notch and a great place to enjoy a drink while watching the African sun disappear over the horizon.
I am in the process of sorting through all of my photos, I took quite a lot, so I shall send some through as soon as I can.
Once again thanks for all of your organising and booking of activities, it was the best trip I have ever had.

The safari was amazing your recommendations for Elephant camp and Chobe princess were perfect we really did get the best. We loved the camps and the people running them. Our guides were amazing and we really got to know them over our short stay. We saw all the animals we wanted. And got great encounters and close to them. We loved every moment of it and it was perfect in length and the accommodation and food was amazing. Again thank you for organising such a fantastic trip for us.

Nic and I went to East Africa with no set requirements of what we had to see or do. And yet, you know, we saw the ‘big five’! And we saw lots more – an abundance of giraffe, zebra, hippos, wildebeest, elephants, lions (including a hunt which resulted in a kill of 3 zebra and the pride feeding their 12 cubs!), gazelle, impala, cheetah, leopard (with its killed antelope above it in a tree), warthog, vultures, lots of beautiful birds, and too many more to mention.
But, really, it wasn’t just about the animals. The East African people, the beautiful birds, and the landscapes and sunsets were just as appealing. Everyone was superb. The whole experience was uplifting.
If I had listened too much to some people here in Auckland before I went I could have been dissuaded from going. Now I cannot stop telling friends and family! It is hard to not fall in love with East Africa.

Tracy, where to start, what a wonderful tour!!
The sheer number and variety of wildlife we saw, and the in-depth knowledge shared by Moses and Wayne, our guides, ensured we were not left wanting. Their easy demeanour allowed us all to have a fun-filled interactive experience and we learned a lot about the animals and surrounding environment as a result. Each place had its different landscapes, from arid treeless expanses to heavily wooded shrubland, with vast horizons and amazing skies aplenty. We would fully recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience Botswana’s wildlife and ecosystems at their best. The staff were outstanding and the hospitality shown was greatly appreciated. From an amazing breakfast selection right through to the 3 course dinners every evening – we were spoilt for choice. We’ve attached a couple of our favourite photos – still too many to go through at this stage – but hope you like them. A reminder for this time of year is that layering of clothing is a must – mornings are brisk in the open-sided vehicles and evenings are very cool, however, the daytime temperatures were lovely. A great touch that the vehicle provided ru

The safari exceeded my expectations and my brother was overwhelmed by the experience and amazing people we met. The trip flowed with absolutely no problems and inter camp transfers went like clockwork. Next time (and yes I hope to go again) I will ensure that the stay in each camp is three nights not two as two nights tend to create a bit of a rush. Thanks so much for the effort you put into this itinerary for me and the lovely touch at the end when your representative met us in Maun.

The tour was great! From beginning to end, our guide Adam was brilliant. Knowledgeable but personable and very hardworking. There was also a lot to see within the 22 days although I do believe that doing the tour in the opposite direction (i.e from Cape Town to Zimbabwe) would've been better as there are more exciting activities in the opposite direction. Victoria Falls was a hub of tourist activity and had so many activities to choose from which was brilliant, my game drive through Chobe in Botswana was my favourite of all the game drives I took (and there were many), Namibia's landscapes were breath-taking & South Africa offered a nice taste of city life culture. The accommodation and service in each and every place we stayed in was lovely. Thanks again for all the organising and help. I'll keep you guys in mind for any future tours that I want to do!

We really loved Africa and could easily return. For us it wasn't just about the awesome opportunity to see all the animals in their natural settings but it was the variety and vastness of the landscapes that wowed us! From flooded rivers in Botswana and Namibia surrounded by green lush bush and full of animals and bird life to the amazing serenity and beauty of the Agab terraces. Flying over the Namib desert with views of canyons and sculpted sand dunes and then the sense of achievement after climbing the dunes at Sossusvlei., glamping in the desert and the multitudes of stars to admire every night including our southern cross. The experience of feeling miles from anywhere after 500 km days on dirt roads but still being able to relax for the night in comfortable well serviced lodges with excellent food and service in yet another breath taking setting ! Each day brought something new to see or experience and we were consistently impressed. The tour was well organised and professional and our driver was professional , attentive and very knowledgeable and informative. We really appreciated the detail and information provided by Claire at African Safaris when we booked our tour and especially the email to the hosts of our first night accommodation enquiring after our well being and safe arrival in Africa .Well done Claire.

David and I were privileged to go on the 19-day Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, led by Claire Vial. Despite my initial apprehension about doing a safari, within a few days I was full of enthusiasm and enjoyed every moment of this wonderful adventure. The excitement we felt on seeing wild animals in their own environment, up close, was palpable in our happy group of 10. The varied accommodation added to the interest especially the private wilderness camp sites which were in isolated parts of the national parks, where the night skies were spectacular. Claire is a wonderful leader, full of information and always ready to provide any assistance needed. She anticipated our every need and was so well organised. We cannot recommend an African Safari with Claire more highly.

We had a fabulous time, accommodation was excellent especially Treetops and Camp Kipwe We had a great group and Elvis was a fantastic guide. Most places we felt like we were the only people in Namibia. We’ve all kept in touch on facebook and we’re all suffering Africa withdrawals. I’ve attached a few of my fave photos (yours are very good!) I only took about 2000! Hopefully we will have saved enough in a few years for another safari!
