Through the eyes of a kiwi - Rod East

African Wildlife"African Wildlife - Through the eyes of a Kiwi" is a spectacular photo-essay of birds and animals all taken by Rod East over a lifetime.

Diagnosed with Cancer in early 2006, Rod began the book initially as a memento for family, friends and colleagues; but everyone who saw and read what he was writing, thought that his book was worthy of much wider publication. It was Rod's wish that "African Wildlife through the eyes of a kiwi" be used to raise money for the Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool.

Written with a great deal of love and knowledge, Rod's book was compiled and published by his friends and family after his death later in 2006.

The Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool Charitable Trust has committed to raise the community contribution of $1.2 million towards the construction of the purpose-built hydrotherapy pool at Waterworld, Te Rapa.

This book has been published to raise funds to build the pool. Rod's passion as revealed in this book is his on-going legacy. All proceeds from the book go to the Hydrotherapy pool project.
